Steel Tubular Support Systems ( Strut )
Steel pipe strut systems are applied by placing cross steel pipe support between two opposing curtains or on two perpendicularly adjacent facades in areas where anchorage cannot be made or cantilever bored piles cannot be made. As the building rises from the final excavation level, the steel pipes are removed and the underground structure production is completed.
In addition, it is widely applied between two mutual curtains in order to reduce the cost of shoring in places where channels are opened (sink-output, subway routes, water channels, etc.). While the top of the channels are covered with reinforced concrete elements, the steel pipe supports can be removed and used again in the next stages.
